Read an Activity
What each column of the audit log says, and how to open everything recorded about one Activity.
This page helps you read each row of the audit log.
Columns
| Column | What it says |
|---|---|
| Time | When it happened. Hold the mouse over it to see the full time down to the second |
| User | Who did it. If a program used an API key, it shows "name · API key". If the person was not signed in, it shows Not signed in |
| Action | What was done. The category name is in gray under it |
| Target | The name of the Item or thing that was acted on |
| Outcome | Succeeded or Failed |
| IP address | The IP address of the computer that sent the request |
For a failed sign-in from the sign-in page, the user name shows as a long string of unreadable characters, because the sign-in page encrypts the name before sending it. Use the IP address instead.
Open one Activity
