This page helps you share a dashboard so others can open it, and send them the link.
A dashboard has no draft. Every time you edit, the people it is shared with see the change at once.
Share a dashboard
- On App Studio's home page, press the three-dot button on the card, then choose Share.
- Press Add users and groups.
- Search for and choose the people or groups to share with.
- To change the permission, press the As Reader button and choose a new one.
- Press Add, then press Apply.
The people you shared with see the dashboard under Shared with me on App Studio's home page.
To let everyone who is signed in open it, press Share as at the top left and choose Internal.
To let others help edit the dashboard, give them Item organizer or higher. Writer cannot edit.
Send a link
Open the dashboard in the viewer and copy the web address to send to someone. If you set filters, the link carries them. See Send a filtered link.
A link does not grant access. The person who opens it must already have the dashboard shared with them.
If the person with the link cannot open it
- If they see the "500 Internal Server Error" page with
Request failed with status code 403, the dashboard has not been shared with them. - If the dashboard opens but some widgets say "An error occurred.", they have no permission to read that widget's table or Web map. Share the table or Web map with them too.
